What am I NOT allowed to bring.
AYM Youth Camp has a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding the use or possession on camp property, of tobacco products, vapes, alcohol, firearms, fireworks, non – prescription drugs, knives, weapons, or ammunition of any kind, pornographic material, and explicit music. Any of the above-mentioned items could result in camper’s removal from camp. We discourage the use of any expensive electronic devices such as iPods, MP3 players, gaming devices, laptops, and portable DVD players and request that these devices be left at home.
Our goal is for campers to build significant relationships during their time at camp.
Experience tells us these electronic devices can serve as a relational block. Also, there is the potential for expensive items like these to be lost, stolen or broken. AYM Camps are therefore not responsible for lost or stolen items and cannot be held liable.
Who are the counsellors
At AYM Youth Camps, we're proud to have a team of dedicated counsellors who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our campers. Our counsellors are a group of God-loving individuals who are eager to work hard, take responsibility, build relationships with campers, and make the most of their camping experience.
Our counsellors come from a variety of backgrounds, including university students, teachers, accountants, moms, dads, and many others. What they all have in common is a love for Jesus and a desire to make a difference in someone's life. Most of our counsellors have previous camping experience and enjoy working outdoors. We also have a team of veteran support staff who return to camp year after year.
. Our supervisory staff members are committed to ensuring that all campers and staff members are well taken care of in a fun and safe environment. Many of them are educators, parents, and grandparents themselves. Join our AYM Youth Camp family and become a part of something special!
Safety at camp
Here at AYM Youth Camp, we prioritize your child's safety in every aspect of our program, whether it's water activities, strenuous activities, or simple discussions. We are committed to ensuring that every child feels physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally safe throughout their stay.
We take our responsibility to care for, support, and mentor our campers very seriously, and we welcome any questions or concerns you may have.
I want to help, can I make a donation?
To make our camps more accessible to every young person, we try and keep the cost of each camp as low as possible. Please help us to do that by donating to the AYM Camps. These donations will go towards the running costs of each camp thus making each camp more affordable for everyone! Please note that we run camp at a zero profit margin, so donations also enable us to sponsor potential campers for whom camp is unaffordable. Donate here.
